Greta, my new favorite candle-holder reminiscent of folk art from Wisteria.
Handcrafted shell trees the boys made with their Nana. We are shell-obsessed! I love how the trees turned out and I have been meaning to spray them with acrylic...
Games, Games, Games all the time. In fact I played a game of Dragonology with Z. at breakfast this morn. He beat me AGAIN.
Since S.S. has been so obsessed (yes, I know it is a strong word, but it applies) with the stock market, I pulled out this game from downstairs. This is one of my all time favorite games, and I played it oodles and gobs with my dad, brother and sister. I recall feeling so excited when I would beat my sister or brother, which rarely happened (I am just sure I beat them at least once). It is a great game from 1967. Goes well with lots of Simon and Garfunkel, which have been enjoying a revival at our place.
My new favorite pouch and tape measure (Both gifts I received, which I adore). When this was laying on a stack of new fabric from French General, C.C was insistent that the button was "a ball" and was trying to get it off. I guess it does resemble a ball to a 2o month old brain. A cute ball I must say.
Our tree is already out in the woods, making new friends with the rabbits and birds. It had to go right after the holiday, since the tree and the tree stand were at odds and threatened to fall over yet again.
