~I started this shirt around Turkey day and really have gotten sidetracked. Too many other fun things to knit, sew and hook.
~This is how it sat on my dress form for the past few months. After I had the collar attached, then I went to work on the sleeves.
~Finally, I took some time to add the cuffs. I guess I should mention that this is Kwik sew pattern 3199, which I have mentioned before. It is a great pattern, but I have had to make many alterations so that it fits my dimensions correctly. Thank goodness it has a gob of pieces to work with.

~I purchased the fabric a year or so ago and it is entitled "The Quilts of Pickle Road: Katmandu" by Mark Lipinski. The detail on this pattern is amazing.
~Here is the final product. The dark charcoal shirt is a tissue cami from J.Crew and is a staple in my closet. They are the perfect layering piece (reads: I own too many).
geesh sue- that is just lovely. I want 1 (or 20). :) Off to look for that cami!

I think it is the ruffled, sleeveless cami and looks better in person than on the website
